Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Wimzi Games LLC ("Wimzi Games", "we", "us") collects when you play our mobile games, including Wimzi Solitaire (the "Games"), how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have questions, email support@wimzigames.com.
1. Information we collect
Information created when you play
- Game account identifiers. When you first open a Game, an anonymous player account is created for you automatically. It has a random player ID and a short player code (for example, K7MP2Q) that you can share with support or friends. We do not require your name, email address or phone number to play.
- Game progress. Your coins, wins, best times, streaks, settings, unlocked items, gifts and, if offered, rewards points, so your progress is saved and can be restored.
- Profile and social features. The display name and avatar you choose, your friends list and friend requests, and your leaderboard scores. Your display name, avatar and scores are visible to other players on leaderboards and in friends features.
- Device and app information. Device model, operating system and version, platform (iOS or Android), app version, language setting, and the dates you first and last played.
Information collected by our service providers
- Analytics. Google Analytics for Firebase collects information about how the Games are used (for example, games started and won, screens opened, ads watched), an app instance identifier, device information and approximate location (country or region, derived from IP address).
- Advertising. Our Games show ads through Google AdMob. Google may collect your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, only if you allow tracking; Advertising ID on Android), IP address, device information and ad interactions, to show ads, measure them and prevent fraud. Where required, we ask for your consent before personalized ads are shown.
Information you give us
- Support requests. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. Emails sent from inside a Game include your player code, platform, device model, app version and language so we can help you faster.
2. How we use information
- To run the Games, save and sync your progress, and restore it on a new device.
- To provide leaderboards, friends, gifts, events, daily bonuses and other features.
- To answer support requests. Some players may be assigned a personal support host; that host can see your player code and the information in your support emails.
- To understand how the Games are played, fix problems and improve them.
- To show ads, which keep the Games free.
- To prevent cheating, fraud and abuse, and to comply with law.
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of our contract with you (running the Games and your account); our legitimate interests (analytics, security, improving the Games, contextual ads); and your consent (personalized advertising and tracking, where required). You can withdraw consent at any time.
3. How information is shared
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only:
- With service providers that run parts of the Games for us: Unity Technologies (player accounts, cloud saves, leaderboards, friends and server scripts), Google (Firebase Analytics and AdMob), Apple and Google (app stores and payments), and our email provider.
- With other players, limited to your display name, avatar, scores and friends activity.
- For legal reasons, when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our players or Wimzi Games.
- In a business transfer, such as a merger or sale of the company, subject to this policy.
Some U.S. state laws treat sharing an advertising identifier for targeted ads as a "sale" or "sharing". You can opt out by turning off personalized ads on your device (iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking; Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID) or by declining in our consent message.
4. Your choices and rights
- Tracking and ads: use the device settings above or the in-game consent options.
- Display name: change it any time on the Profile screen.
- Delete your account: in the app, go to Profile → Delete account; it takes effect immediately. Or follow the steps on our account deletion page. Deleting the app alone does not delete server data.
- Access and correction: email support@wimzigames.com with your player code (Profile → Player Code).
- Depending on where you live (for example, California, other U.S. states, the EEA or UK), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your information, to object to or restrict certain uses, and to complain to your local data protection authority. We will not discriminate against you for using these rights.
5. Retention
We keep game account data while your account is active and for up to 24 months after you last play, then delete or anonymize it. Support emails are kept for up to 24 months. Analytics data is kept according to our Firebase settings (up to 14 months). When you delete your account, the analytics records linked to it in our own copies are anonymized within 30 days: the activity stays only as anonymous statistics that can no longer be linked to you.
6. Children
Our Games are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Security and international transfers
We use reasonable safeguards, such as encrypted connections and access controls, but no system is perfectly secure. Our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries; where required, transfers are protected by measures such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. If we make significant changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, tell you in the Game.
